3 photos "Expecting a Miracle" (Jan. 10, 9-11 p.m. ET/PT and 8-10 p.m. CT, Hallmark Channel): I think it's safe to speak for everyone in saying that if you take your sports utility vehicle to Mexico and veer off the well-beaten path, you might find that the road less traveled is the best place to be! Such is the initial lesson to emerge from this Hallmark Channel Original romantic comedy that stars Teri Polo of "Meet the Parents" fame and "Beverly Hills, 90210" alum Jason Priestley as a yuppie couple who, needing to inject some missing romance into their marriage, embark in a little marital therapy in heading to a friend's vacation home. Then their car implodes, they wind up in an oddball Mexican town that's so weird it's turned Cheech Marin into a priest. But what these two wind up witnessing is, well, a miracle. The moral: all things are possible as long as one avoids drinking the water. That, and pigs really can fly! |
